For the past several years The Crescent Project has hosted The Oasis Conference to train and network believers to reach Muslims in North America. In the past the conference was hosted in the Mid West. This year the conference has moved westward to Sacramento, California. PRAYER AND PRAISE REPORTS
This month we invite you to pray for the various media ministries reaching the Muslim World.
Praise reports
- Praise God for more churches becoming involved in the 30-days Ramadan Prayer campaign.
- Praise God for the increasing response that Muslim-targeted evangelistic websites are experiencing (see below).
- Praise God for resumption of PMI's Internet broadcast after several weeks of technical difficulties.
- Praise the Lord for His intervention in Pastor Fareed's health and recent dramatic improvement. Soon you will receive his Praise Announcement!
- Praise God for brother S. who is a MBB (Muslim Background Believer) from Iran, and his wife American wife who have given the largest donations in "Family Category" for the second time in the last 14 months. Please pray that God bless them in a special way for the way they have enabled PMI to reach millions of Muslims around the world.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for the media outreaches using the Internet and satellite TV to reach the Muslim World including: Maarifa , evangelical TV programs via Persian Christian Satellite TV channels, Sat7 , A l -Kitab (correspondence course), and PMI's satellite, Cable and Internet outreach programs.
- Pray that such ministries will have effective follow-up programs for those who contact them for further spiritual direction.
- Pray for the Church worldwide to gain an even greater interest in participating in the Ramadan Prayer campaign to provide intercessory support for media outreach.
- Pray for the spiritual growth of Muslims-born Believers and God's grace to face persecution.
- Pray for the family of the recently martyred, Abbas Amiri . Brother Amiri defended his country against Sadam aggression and was a devote Muslim haji (one who has visited Mekkah on pilgrimage). He came to faith in Christ a few years ago and the homegroup he was hosting in Tehran was recently raided by Iranian security. Bro. Amiri was severely beaten and subsequently died. Pray for God's comfort of his family and empowerment of fellow believers to stand for Christ and do not back down in their evangelistic outreaches.

Approach your Pastor and your Bible study leaders to encourage them to participate in this effective month of intercession for the Muslim world. The resources and prayer guides get better every year. ENGAGE YOUR FAITH
Recently, the ministry of " Here's Life International " sent me an e-mail appealing for more e-mentors. The ministry opened up a new evangelistic website targeting Muslims in Pakistan and they have been buried with hundreds response e-mails of serious seekers. "Here's Life" ministry needs e-mentors to connect with these respondents, to answer questions, to pray for specific needs, and to share the love of Christ from your own living room. The need is so great for mature Christian who would be willing to devote even a few minutes a week to encourage a new believer and direct Muslim seekers to Christ via secure Internet contact. English, Arabic, Farsi, French, and Chinese native speaker as needed desperately.
